Establishment grants: a particularly incentive system of start-up assistance …

In the Champagne-Ardenne region, all the parties of economic development (Europe, the French State, the region and local authorities) mobilise their efforts to permit a French or overseas business to accomplish the start-up of their activity under the best possible conditions.

The aid provisions depend on the kind of project (productive investment, job creation, innovation, training, etc.), its place (whether situated in priority development zones or not) and of the type of business it conducts (large or medium/small size business).


Available financial aid for real estate and other investments:

  • « Zone PAT » (allowance for the territorial development): from 3,800 Euros to 7,600 Euros per job created.
  • Financial assistance from the local authorities: tax exemptions, low real estate prices, financial assistance towards the acquisition of real estate, various developments.
  • Low Professional Tax rate for certain activities.
  • « Zone RR » (rural revitalisation): tax and social contributions’ exemptions.
